Midnight Geometry Labradorite Pendant
$95.00
A faceted labradorite pendant set in hand-electroformed copper, with flashes of blue, teal, smoky gray, and gold. Inspired by my ongoing obsession with hexagonal shapes and labradorite, each piece is rich with its own individual character and flash. This listing is for the exact pendant shown in the photos.
Description
This Labradorite Hexagon Pendant brings together two things I never seem to get tired of: hexagonal shapes and labradorite. Midnight Geometry grew out of that ongoing obsession with strong geometric forms and stones that completely change character when the light hits them.
Labradorite is a feldspar mineral loved for its dramatic flashes of blue, green, gold, and teal, known as labradorescence. Each stone shifts with the light, revealing changing colors and patterns that make every piece naturally distinctive and visually dynamic.
The faceted stone in this pendant moves through smoky gray, deep blue, teal, and flashes of gold depending on the angle and lighting. That movement is one of the reasons I keep coming back to labradorite. Every stone has its own internal pattern, inclusions, and flash.
Hand-Electroformed Labradorite Copper Pendant
I create the copper setting around the stone using electroforming. Rather than forcing every setting to look identical, I let the copper develop naturally around the shape of the stone. Texture builds, edges develop, and subtle variations appear throughout the process.
The finished copper setting is sealed with ProtectaClear to help preserve the finish and slow the natural patina process. Copper will still naturally darken and change over time, and that evolving character is part of what makes copper jewelry interesting.
Labradorite Hexagon Pendant – Midnight Geometry
This Labradorite Copper Pendant comes on a stainless steel chain with a copper finish. That gives the necklace the warm appearance of copper while adding the durability of stainless steel to the chain itself.
Midnight Geometry is a design I expect to revisit because hexagons and labradorite are recurring favorites in my work. Each future piece may share the same inspiration, but every stone and every electroformed setting will develop a little differently.
