Blue Window is a Quartz Labradorite Copper Pendant
from my Keys to the Castle Collection, this Quartz Labradorite Copper Pendant combines a natural Lemurian quartz crystal point, blue-flashy labradorite, and sculptural electroformed copper.
The round labradorite sits above the Lemurian quartz like a tiny glowing window, catching flashes of blue as the light moves across its surface.
Around the stones, the electroformed copper has developed into sweeping curves, loops, and soft swirls. Those organic copper details give Blue Window a more ornate personality than some of the other Keys in the collection.
Each piece begins with stones I select and prepare before they spend time in my electroforming tank, where electricity, copper, chemistry, and patience slowly build the finished form. It is part jewelry making, part experiment, and exactly the kind of process that keeps this mad scientist sorceress happy.
Although I return to the Key to the Castle design again and again, no two finished Keys develop exactly alike. Natural variation in the Lemurian quartz and labradorite combines with the organic electroforming process, giving every pendant its own individual character.
The finished copper is sealed with ProtectaClear, a clear protective coating that helps preserve the copper finish and slow natural tarnishing from wear and exposure.
